The People’s Nonprofit Accelerator

We learn together, we support one another, we improve nonprofit and the communities they serve.
ABOUT The People's Nonprofit Accelerator
The People's Nonprofit Accelerator is operated by nonprofit workers for nonprofit workers, and is a dedicated peer networking and learning environment to advance our sector's knowledge and expertise in nonprofit fundraising, leadership, management, and social justice. Our operating philosophy is that "We Learn Together, We Support One Another, and We Improve Nonprofits and the Communities and Movements they Serve." We do this by leveraging our shared knowledge and deploy educational opportunities throughout the year in a variety of ways that include: Affinity + Networking Groups, Development Series Workshops, Signature Certification Courses, and an annual conference.

Services they offer

Certification Courses

Our certification courses are learning cohorts of nonprofit workers in their early to mid-stage careers in the sector, and our offerings include: Certificate in Nonprofit Fundraising, Certificate in Executive Leadership, Certificate in Grant Writing, Certificate in Managerial Resilience, and Certificate in Fundraising Events.

Affinity Groups

Affinity Groups are peer-to-peer networking and learning spaces that are also peer-led by nonprofit workers who share relatively the same responsibilities or experiences regardless of titles, and our offerings include: Development Directors, Marketing Professionals, BIPOC Fundraisers, and Executive Directors.

Workshops and Conference

For ongoing and responsive learning throughout the year, we offer workshops in most months (with breaks in summer and end of year), and host an annual conference centered on advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in nonprofit leadership and fundraising.
Client Success Story
"This Certificate in Nonprofit Fundraising course has pulled all the various pieces of development work I've learned over 26 years in the nonprofit sector together, giving me clarity and direction in my development role. I especially enjoyed the deep dives into the diversity, equity, and inclusion topics weaved throughout the curriculum, giving depth and breadth to fundraising work that I've seen glossed over in years past. I highly recommend this course to anyone, whether a beginner or seasoned professional as there is much to learn and keep abreast of, especially in this rapidly changing development landscape."
